The exciting thing about coil and screw threads is that they create VOLUME. We love volume! These single coil pdo threads are great for subtly plumping cheeks, lips, under eyes, wrinkles and nasolabial fold. These also work for hand wrinkles.
 
Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are a special medical grade thread that is thinner than hair and made of protein. Research has shown that a foreign body in the skin causes a reaction that improves the blood flow to the area and stimulates neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen in the skin). It also stimulates elastin and hyaluronic acid, both substances are key to maintaining firm, youthful looking skin. The threads are dissolvable and will be reabsorbed in around 6 months.  They leave behind all the good stuff like collagen and  elastin, and you continue to see results for another 15-24 months.
